The son of former Presidential candidate Congressman Ron Paul considers a bid for U.S. Senate.

This morning, Dr. Rand Paul was at Teresa's Restaurant in Bowling Green to gauge his support.

The local eye surgeon talks about the importance of getting the approval of Kentuckians over being annointed by Washington, D.C.

The U.S. Senate seat is currently held by Republican Jim Bunning.

Secretary of State Trey Grayson has formed an exporatory committee, however; both Grayson and Paul have said they won't enter the race unless Bunning decides to abandon his re-election bid.

Two prominent Democrats have already tossed their name in the hat, Lieutenant Governor Daniel Mongiardo and Attorney General Jack Conway.
