So far the holiday shopping season has been very festive this year with record breaking highs in sales. Retailers are reporting a five percent increase this year compared to last year. So far the strong season is one of the strongest shopping seasons in five years. Economists say despite problems with terrorism and unemployment consumers are more confident in the economy.
