A fugitive couple once featured on "Crime Stoppers" more than 4 years ago, is now behind bars.
A federal Grand jury indicted Christopher Dewayne Smith and Helen Kay Smith about 10 years ago on mail fraud and conspiracy to commit mail fraud.
The two were finally caught today and arrested.
Police say they went to court to appear for the charges years ago, but failed to come back to receive their sentences.
More charges are now pending.
The Smith's are accused of staging fake auto accidents and then collecting the insurance money.
The U.S. Marshal's office had been looking for the couple since 1997.
