A father and two of his sons are dead after an accident in Campbellsville.
Authorities say Robert E. Pierce was driving east on Kentucky 1798, about six miles south of Campbellsville, when his vehicle ran off the left side of the road, striking an embankment and another vehicle before hitting a tree.
Pierce's car hit a truck. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Pierce and his son, eight year-old Dylan, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Pierce's other son, six year-old Ethan, was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A third son, ten year-old Cody pierce, was flown to Kosair Children's hospital in Louisville, where he was listed in critical condition.
Authorities say the occupants were wearing their seatbelts and that alcohol was not suspected as a factor in the crash.
