The Warren County Grand Jury indicts 32-year-old Corey James Butts, charging him with rape, two counts of sodomy, kidnapping, assault, terrorist threatening, and being a persistent felony offender. The charges stem from alleged incidents July 14 and 15.

Butts' criminal history includes a 2000 rape and kidnapping charge to which he pleaded guilty. He is listed on Kentucky's sex offender registry.

In a separate indictment, Butts is also charged with burglary and theft. He's being held in the Warren County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.
