One popular Christmas gift this year seems to be the new Playstation Three game system.
But, with the game's popularity also came violence.
Across the country several people have been robbed or trampled while trying to get their hands on the new game.
In the most serious incident a man was shot while waiting outside a Wal-Mart store in Connecticut when he resisted giving money to two gunmen.
Another Connecticut shopper was beaten and robbed of his new Playstation minutes after he bought it.
Someone fired BB pellets from a passing vehicle at people waiting outside a best buy store in Lexington, Kentucky.
And, Nintendo’s new game console, Wii, went on sale at Sunday.
Some people camped out for a week to get their hands on the game console.
