A local church is trying to help out and raise awareness of what they call the Zimbabwe crisis.
Woodburn Baptist Church needs your help in filling up a semi-truck full of supplies to ship to Zimbabwe.
They're looking for many items including over the counter medications, personal hygiene products, and canned food.
Shipment will cost thousands of dollars, so they've put together a youth musical called Mashambanzou, based on Zimbabwe, to raise money.
"They've been fantastic," said Lisa Williams, a member of the church who is helping with the event. "They've actually learned some songs in the Shona language. Their memory's much better than mine. They've done very good. They really have. The musical's going to be incredible."
The musical will be performed in several counties beginning in August, and the items will be shipped on October 6.
If you would like to help out, you can send items or monetary donations to the church at 600 Woodburn Allen Springs Road in Woodburn.
