Robert R. Parton, 56, and Joyce M. Jacobs, 30, both of Portland, Tennessee, pleaded guilty to robbing the U.S. Bank on Old Gallatin Road in Scottsville April 23.
Parton also admitted robbing the Union Planters Bank in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
Parton remains in jail, Jacobs is out on bond. Both will be sentenced in federal court Jan. 7.
