Nearly three weeks after midterm Election Day, Kentucky's election results are now in cement. The state board of elections certified the final tallies Nov. 27, 2006.
The elections panel certified the results of the 2006 elections ranging from congress and the state general assembly to circuit and district court judges.
Secretary of State Trey Grayson said some of the numbers changed slightly in a couple of races through recanvasses.
He also said the changes were small and did not affect the outcomes.
There were more than 4,000 races in Kentucky in 2006, which included 247 judicial contests. Also along with the six congressional races there were also 52 general assembly seats contested.
