A suspect in a Glasgow, Ky., shooting is now in custody.
The shooting happened Nov. 29, 2006, at about 9:15 p.m. Glasgow police said two people were shot and taken to T.J. Samson Hospital. One was then air-lifted to the University of Louisville hospital. Neither their names nor their conditions have been released. Police aren't sure what prompted the shooting.
"The scene is still kind of new to us," said Lt. Maxie Murray, Glasgow Police public information officer. "We are still picking up the pieces to the puzzle."
Police arrested 44-year-old Richard Morgan of Tompkinsville, Ky., charging him with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of first degree assault, and one count of first degree burglary.
Morgan is lodged in the Barren County Corrections Center on a $250,000 cash bond. He is to be arraigned in Barren County District Court at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec 1, 2006.
