Although there were no reported touchdowns of tornadoes, residents in northern Warren county faced a scary night and a frustrating morning.

Heavy property damage was reported near the Ballance Farm and Race Track, off Louisville Road in Oakland last night.

A barn was destroyed and 150-year-old trees were "snapped like twigs", as one eyewitness recalled.

Joe Turner says the damage he witnessed looked a lot like what tornadoes are capable of.

Several tornado warnings were posted throughout south central Kentucky and many area roads and homes were also flooded last night from the heavy rainfall that accompanies the severe storms.
