Around 100 dogs and even more cats and kittens are still looking for homes at the humane society.

Although many people have come to adopt dogs, those with the humane society say more and more cats are coming in everyday.

As always, if you cannot adopt, you can always help sponsor an adoption or buy other items they need.

"We go through a lot of cat litter every single day," said Lisa Henderson, Operations Manager at the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society. "Cat toys are great to help occupy their time. Any kind of treats or bedding, anything like that would be great."

You can also help out by buying special tickets to the Hot Rods game on July 8, when part of the proceeds will go to the humane society.
