A mother in North Eastern Kentucky has been indicted on a manslaughter charge in the death of her son. Thirty-eight-year-old Toni Barber is also facing a charge of criminal abuse.
Barber’s son, Kaleb died in a minivan outside their home in August. Barber told police that her son and his sister may have been in the van for about six hours.
Investigators determined that Kaleb died of hyperthermia due to extreme temperatures. His sister was not injured.
