A South Central Kentucky woman accused of withholding food from children, could face a grand jury.
Terri Boschee is accused of starving children under her care, for three to four days at a time as punishment. She was indicted after one of the children ran away and went to a local radio station for help.
The 11-year-old said his siblings were beaten for not completing their home school assignments.
“He told us that he didn’t have any bruises, but that he was very concerned for his older sisters,” explained Jan Royse of WHVE 92.7 The Wave, on the severity of the abuse.
Boschee is free on bond and police said the children are in a relative’s care. Boschee will be arraigned in Adair Circuit Court in Columbia on Dec. 12, 2006.
