A school bus accident just south of the Kentucky line is under investigation.
A pickup truck and school bus collided Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006. The highway patrol said the bus was slowing down to let students off, when the truck coming from the other direction, hit it head-on.
Three of the 16 elementary school students on the bus were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver of the truck, Robert Johnson of Springfield, Tenn., was hospitalized in Nashville with injuries that weren't life-threatening. His passenger, William farmer, was in critical condition
The accident happened on Highway 25 about eight miles west of Interstate 65 in Robertson County, Tenn.
