Thieves made off with nearly tens of thousands of dollars of toys from the Salvation Army that were intended to be given to needy children this Christmas.
Walmart heard about the robbery and decided to share in the Christmas spirit of giving. Walmart decided to go above and beyond and give $15,000 of new toys to the Salvation Army to make up for the grinch who stole their Christmas.
"Once again, good has won and evil has lost, so the grinch didn't get what he thought he was going to get," said Roy Hicks, Salvation Army captain.
Walmart has been supportive of the Salvation Army for more then 20 years.
