With the Christmas holiday right around the corner the Young Professionals of Bowling Green partnered with the Jaycee's to make sure that some children will have a great Christmas this year.
The two organizations partnered with the Head Start program to take the children shopping at the Campbell Lane Walmart in Bowling Green.
The children were each given a minimum of 125 dollars to spend on essential items, as well as some toys.
"It just puts you in the Christmas spirit to see the smiles on the young kids faces and for them to have the oppurtunity to come in and pick out their toys, new clothes and a coat and to see Santa Claus this morning", says Tara Griffith, the Event Coordinator.
This was the Jaycee's 35th annual Christmas shopping for kids.
