A Muhlenberg County, Ky., man is charged with his fourth offense of driving under the influence, after a crash kills one person and injures another.
According to Kentucky State Police, 21-year-old Jonathan Benson of Cleaton, Ky., was traveling on Cleaton Cutoff Road in Central City, Ky., on Dec. 9, 2006, when he lost control and hit a tree.
He and his two passengers, Billy Reid and Brandon Benson, were thrown from the car. Reid was pronounced dead at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Benson was transported by air evac to another hospital.
Police cited Jonathan Benson for his fourth DUI offense and his 2nd offense of driving on a suspended license. He was cited to court for the offense.
