We've heard a lot about General Motors in headlines recently, but very little of the news has been good.

Now, GM, and its employees here in Bowling Green have something to be proud about.

J.D. Power and Associates has ranked the Chevrolet Corvette as the best General Motors model in its annual survey of automotive quality.

Bowling Green's Corvette Assembly Plant also secured the Bronze Plant Award, with only 43 problems reported per 100 vehicles.

This is only two points away from a possible Gold Plant score.

Plant officials say the awards show how committed the company and its employees are to manufacturing quality products.
