The Kentucky State Health Department confirms another case of the H1N1 flu in Warren county.

Late yesterday afternoon, the Barren River Health Department was informed by the state health department that a child from Warren county was confirmed with the H1N1 flu virus.

This now makes two confirmed cases of the H1N1 flu for Warren county.

The state health department is now taking more of a surveillance role of the flu.

Officials also say the Warren county child with the flu conditions are improving.

The health department says the best thing is prevention.

That means frequent hand washing, coughing in your sleeve, and staying home when ill.
