Chevron Robbery

Kentucky State Police are looking for a robbery suspect and are asking for your help.

Around 2 a.m. Sunday morning, Dec. 17, a white male entered Phil’s Chevron station in Smiths Grove, Ky., where he forced a clerk at gunpoint into the walk-in freezer.

The perpetrator then returned to the front counter where he removed the cash box from underneath the lottery machine and left.

Police are hoping what this man was wearing and this video will help solve this robbery.

“A masked suspect had a hooded sweatshirt with Tommy Hilfiger on the front and lower back and a covered mask, like a ski or a hunting mask, with the eyes out and the nose and mouth cut out,” said Det. Mike May with the Kentucky State Police. The clerk was not injured in the robbery.

Police are asking if you recognize the man in this surveillance video that you contact the Kentucky State Police at 270-782-2010.
