The Kentucky Supreme Court makes a ruling ending an almost four year battle.
Warren County, Ky., Judge-Executive, Mike Buchanon said the Kentucky Supreme Court has rejected the plea from the Warren County Citizens for Managed Growth.
The group asked for “discretionary review” on all the remaining zoning appeals. Buchanon said that means all the appeals by the opponents to the transpark have been denied and the transpark can go ahead as planned.
“... These frivolous suits have cost South Central Kentucky nearly 4,000 jobs and $100 million-a-year in revenue,” Buchanon said.
That doesn’t include the $1 million Buchanon said the transpark, city and county governments have spent in court on these cases over the years.
