Crime Stoppers: Stolen Collectibles

Someone decided to celebrate Christmas by filling their sack with priceless collectibles.

Bowling Green, Ky., Police are investigating a residential burglary on Covington Street. They say someone broke into a house there at around 5:45 p.m. Wed., Dec. 13.

The thieves rummaged through the home, stealing 52 antique pocket watches, each in its own brown drawstring bag, 20 pocket knives and a set of silver knives, forks and spoons.

The burglars packed their loot away in a white bedspread.

Also this week, the Franklin, Ky., Police Department is asking for your help in identifying a robbery suspect.

They say a white male, medium build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, entered Cash Express in Franklin at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday December 14.

Police say he forced the clerk behind the counter at gunpoint, took cash from the register, and fled on foot.
