FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- Organizers of an anti-tax protest scheduled for Independence Day are encouraging participants to travel to the state capital with flags, chairs, a brown bag lunch and bottled water.

The Kentucky State-wide Tea Party is set for Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. EDT on the steps of the Capitol.

The group TEA Party of Kentucky says there will be music, several speakers and an open mic. Three buses are scheduled to bring participants from Elizabethtown, Louisville and Somerset.

TEA stands for "Taxed Enough Already." Similar rallies, or "tea parties," were held nationwide and in Kentucky on Tax Day, April 15.
