It’s now only a matter of hours before Saddam Hussein’s execution.
An adviser to Iraq’s Prime Minister said the hanging will take place at 9 p.m. Central Time. He said the time was agreed upon during a meeting between U.S. and Iraqi officials.
Also to be hanged at that time, are Saddam’s half brother and the former Chief Justice of the Revolutionary Court.
The U.S. will hand Hussein over to Iraqi authorities shortly before the execution to prevent him being humiliated before his death.
Official witnesses have already began gathering in Baghdad’s green zone and stay tuned to WBKO, we’ll have much more on this story coming up on WBKO at 10.
