ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (AP) -- Police say skeletal remains found in Grayson County have been identified as those of an 81-year-old woman missing since 2001.

The News-Enterprise in Elizabethtown reported Thursday the remains were identified as those of Edna "Rea" Miller of Big Clifty.

Miller disappeared Sept. 8, 2001, from her home. Her remains were found in late April by a hiker in eastern Grayson County.

Hardin County Sheriff Charlie Williams says the state medical examiner's office is still investigating the cause of death.

He says the case is now a death investigation, and he believes there will be an arrest in the case.
