One Bowling Green family celebrated the New Year in a way they will never forget.
Jan. 1, 2007, at 12:02 a.m., Tisha Hendrick gave birth to Braxton Lee Hendrick at the Medical Center.
Braxton weighs 7 pounds 5 ounces and is 20-and-a half inches long. He arrived about two weeks early, so Tisha and Joshua were very surprised to be the parents of the first baby born in Warren County in 2007.
“I went to work at about 6:30 a.m. and my contractions were three to four minutes apart. I thought, ‘I think we better go to the hospital,’ and they decided to keep me. Twelve hours later ... here he was,” Tisha said.
Braxton is Tisha and Joshua’s fourth child and they are expected to go home Wednesday, Jan. 3.
