An area company that provides psychiatric treatment for children and adolescents is looking to expand its Bowling Green facility.
Rivendell Behavioral Health Services works with kids from all across the Bluegrass and is seeking a 49-acre campus at 1035 Porter Pike.
The expansion would include an additional 23,000 square feet to the existing 63,000 square-foot residential treatment facility.
This expansion would help the company’s ongoing mission in providing progressive psychiatric treatment for children and adolescents who are experiencing symptoms of mental health problems.
Rivendell’s parent company is Universal Health Services, a company that specializes in healthcare management nationwide.
Warren County’s City-County Planning Commission is holding a public hearing to approve a conditional permit required for the expansion since the property is zoned as multi-family residential.
