The Comair crash last August killed 49 people at the Bluegrass Regional Airport in Lexington, Ky. The National Transportation Safety board has been investigating the crash and said on Jan. 12, 2007, that its report will be released next week. Federal officials have so far determined that the plane took off from the wrong runway.
Among the information in the report is expected to be transcripts from the cockpit voice recorder and the air traffic controller communications. Only the flight's co-pilot, James Polehinke, survived the crash after he was pulled from the wreckage.
