Kentucky House Speaker, Jody Richards, is considering another run for governor on the Democratic ticket.
Richards left Bowling Green Monday afternoon, Jan. 15, 2007, heading to Louisville to visit with former Secretary of State, John Y. Brown.
Richards is considering having Brown run as his lieutenant governor.
Richards told WBKO Monday, he plans to officially announce his intentions at a news conference in Bowling Green, Wednesday, Jan. 17, or Thursday, Jan. 18.
Attorney General Greg Stumbo and former Lieutenant Governor Steve Henry, also Democrats, are said to be considering runs for governor.
Former Lieutenant Governor Steve Beshear, State Treasurer Jonathan Miller, and Harlan County businessman Otis Hensley Jr. have already filed to run for governor as Democrats.
