A Western Kentucky University grad is the new interim U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky.
Candace G. Hill was appointed to the post Wednesday, by U.S. Attorney-General Eric Holder, and sworn in today by U.S. District Judge Charles R. Simpson.
Hill replaces David Huber, who retired January 31.
Ms. Hill began working in the U.S. Attorney's office in 1991, as a criminal prosecutor.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Kentucky University, and her law degree from the University of Louisville.
