Governor Ernie Fletcher has proposed various plans for the $401million budget surplus, but House Budget Chairman Harry Moberly is hesitant to spread the surplus too thin.
Moberly said while Fletcher outlined some good priorities, spending will be limited only to urgent matters. He also said lawmakers could implement more of Fletcher's proposals once they put together the next two-year budget in 2008.
