If Fletcher's cuts do go through they may hurt family resource programs all over the state.
Schools who qualify may have to cut back or cut the program altogether next year. The center helps families with all types of issues like drugs and alcohol, pregnancy, and healthcare.
Edwards says without the center needy parents won't know where to go for help. School districts may have to give up $7 million.
