Officials from Warren county and the city of Bowling Green celebrated a groundbreaking at the Kentucky Transpark today.
The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bowling Green Area Economic Development Authority broke ground for a new speculative building.
The state of the art addition to the transpark is meant to provide an example of what can be built at the transpark, and can be leased or sold to prospective transpark tenants for their own purposes.
The spec building will be 72 thousand square feet, with an expandable area of an additional 45 thousand square feet.
This is the second spec building to be built at the transpark, and the first being bought before it's completion.
