People from all over Kentucky were at the Bowling Green Regional Airport this weekend.

Runners, walkers, and even wheelchair riders raced for the 9th Annual Trooper Island Sunset Run. The race is a fundraiser for Trooper Island, an island on Dale Hollow Lake devoted entirely to a summer camp for underprivileged children.

The camp is run by Kentucky State Police. Tommy Loving, race director, says the goal for this year's race is to raise $4,000.
