The martial art taekwondo originated over 4,000 years ago and is still very popular.

Thousands of people packed into Greenwood High School Saturday to watch over 400 competitors that are part of the International Taekwondo Alliance.

The next time Bowling Green will host a taekwondo tournament cold be another six years.

Cities like Evansville, Nashville and Lexington are all participants in the alliance and they take turns hosting the event each year.
