Sleet and freezing rain left Kentucky motorists scraping their way to a clearer windshield Sunday morning. South-central Kentucky was pounded by the weather making it difficult for commuters in the morning.

Stephen Bill was one of those motorists who got up early Sunday morning to go to church, but his plans were cut short when he walked outside. However, Bill said he didn’t mind the ice storm and took it as an opportunity to stay home and relax.

Temperatures are on the rise but they won’t last long, snow is expected for Tuesday morning.
