With the use of meth on the rise across the nation, local law enforcement is trying to get it under control.
The Barren and Edmonson County Drug Task Force and the Sheriff's Departments, along with the Glasgow and Tomkinsville Police Departments, spent time this past week learning the right way to dismantle drug labs.
During training they also gained information on decontamination and personal protective equipment that's required in dismantling labs.
Twelve officers completed the 40-hour course.
