Saturday afternoon eight kids who have been training for the past 3-4 years took a test to see if they would receive their black belts.
Among the kids is seven-year-old Griffin Gaskins who first started Kung Fu when he was only four years old.
“Gaskins is phenomenal in the fact that he is a very concentrated kid,” Master Tom Pardue said. “He is one of the hardest working students particularly for his age, I’ve ever seen.”
Pardue said all eight kids including Gaskins received their junior black belts.
