Kentucky State Police say speed was a major factor in a crash that killed 21-year-old Aaron Green of Scottsville and 21-year-old Charles Borders, Jr. of Franklin. The accident happened around 4 a.m. Saturday morning on Cemetery Road in Bowling Green.
Police say Borders took a curve to fast and lost control of his 1990 Volkswagen Jetta and struck a guardrail.
Authorities say Green was ejected from the car. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County Coroner and both were wearing their seatbelts.
Funeral arrangements have been made for both men who died. Funeral services for 21-year-old Aaron Green will be at the Goad Funeral Home in Scottsville at 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services for 21-year-old Charles Borders, Jr. will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Crafton Funeral Home with burial following in the Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville.
