An Allen County man is suing the county after being fired over an animal abuse issue. In November, former animal control officer Bob Henry was fired by Judge Executive Johnny Hobdy.

The firing happened when Henry failed to get the Judge's permission before taking away a dog that he said was being abused. Now, Henry is suing the county saying he was wrongfully terminated.

In the lawsuit, Henry is requesting a jury trial and damages for lost wages, humiliation, and embarrassment. The Allen County attorney could not be reached for comment.
