One local clothing store is trying to make the world a better place one pair of jeans at a time.
Vanity has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild communities nationwide that have been hit by natural disasters.
To do this, the store asks that you donate any denim items you no longer need.
The denim will be recycled into insulation for the homes built in these communities.
"We live in a different society today where things are a little bit more costly, and people don't have the money," said Teresa Tyree, Manager of Habitat for Humanity ReStore. "I believe Habitat for Humanity can help give somebody else the chance to have something new or something they can appreciate."
So remember: to help out, drop your items off at Vanity located in Greenwood Mall.
The nationwide goal is 100-thousand denim items which equals the insulation of 200 homes.
