Army officers will soon be visiting medical facilities at Kentucky posts in response to the problems at the Walter Reed Medical Center.
Officials will visit Fort Campbell's Blanchfield Army Community Hospital and Fort Knox's Ireland Community Hospital as part of their study. They will examine outpatient care, building conditions, information provided to patients and administrative procedures.
Teams of inspectors will include Army officers and civilian employees of the Army's medical command.
Officials haven't said when these visits will begin.
