Two people are injured and another is dead after a vehicle ran off the road hitting a tree in Muhlenberg County

Teresa Landrum was operating a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Northbound on Kentucky Highway 181.

Landrum over-corrected traveling into the Southbound lane and going over an embankment.

Her vehicle came to a rest after hitting a tree.

Landrum was flown by helicopter to St. Mary's in Evansville.

Passenger Darlene Johnson was transported to Muhlenburg Community Hospital for her injuries.

The other passenger Verna Blanchard was pronounced dead on the scene by Deputy Coroner Tim Franklin.
