A Clinton County man who killed his parents will spend his life in prison. Final sentencing was held today, March 19, 2007, for Jonathan Burchette of Albany.
Last fall Jonathan Burchett pleaded guilty to the 2004 murders of his parents, Ronnie and Charlona Burchett. In exchange for the plea, the Commonwealth agreed to drop the death penalty.
Burchett’s sentencing hearing wrapped up today in Clinton Circuit Court. Judge Eddie Lovelace ruled Burchett will serve life with no chance of parole.
