It's that time of year again! The Mini-Corvette Challenge is on its way to Bowling Green!
This is the tenth year for the Mini-Corvette Challenge. Teams and participants met to go over some changes to this year’s race. It's being held at Greenwood Mall in the Sears parking lot, which will be transformed into a racetrack.
Each year, the event raises around $30,000, and organizers hope to make even more this year. Proceeds from the event go toward Junior Achievement.
Heather Rogers is the president of Junior Achievement in Bowling Green; she says, "This year we have four new teams that have entered the event as well as an expanded children’s area. And we will again have the car show, bike show, so a lot of fun for the whole family to come out and enjoy."
If you want to come out and cheer on your favorite team and join in the fun, the event is Saturday April 24. Races begin at 9:30 a.m.
