A western Kentucky couple is charged with trying to sell a 15-month-old girl.
Daviess County Sheriff's Lieutenant Bill Thompson said 32-year-old Charles G. Hope Junior and 26-year-old Amber M. Revlett tried to sell Revlett's daughter for $3,000 and a Ford Expedition.
Thompson said the couple planned to use the money to pay off the man's past fines for criminal charges.
Hope told the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer after being arrested yesterday that he wasn't trying to sell his girlfriend's daughter to pay off fines for second-degree burglary and fleeing and evading police.
