The woman appointed to fill the soon-to-be-vacant County Attorney's seat in Warren County says she will focus on moving the office and staff forward. Amy Milliken has served as an Assistant County Attorney for the last eight years, under outgoing County Attorney Mike Caudill, a 25-year veteran of the office.
Caudill will resign Thursday morning in the midst of an ongoing investigation into allegations he misused public funds. Milliken says the investigation has been a distraction, but says the staff has continued to perform their job duties.
Ms. Milliken will be the first woman to serve in the post. She will be sworn in on Thursday morning in the Warren County Courthouse.
