If you've got some plants to protect during these cold temperatures we've got some tips for you.

Nursery workers say it's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to plants that have blooms on them because a frost can nip new growth. You also want to remember never to cover plants with plastic, use sheets instead.

Nursery workers say cover the plants before the sun goes down to trap as much heat as possible. You can use old pots and sticks to anchor the sheets down into the mini greenhouses around the plant.
