The soothing sounds of violins were a nice break from the revving engines at the Corvette Museum.
Thornton Cline and his group of talented young violin players from Tennessee traveled to Bowling Green today, Friday, March 30, 2007, for their very first out of state performance.
They call themselves The Nashville Suzuki Players and the 28 children in the group range in age from three to ten.
Cline said he enjoys teaching the children about music, but hopes they take a bigger lesson home with them.
“Just really try to enhance people’s lives, really teach them, not like a professional, but to teach the love of the music and hopefully it will affect them down the road,” Cline said.
The Nashville Suzuki Players have already recorded three cds and have opened for the Nashville Symphony Orchestra.
